My first film:  CONEY ISLAND BABY,  which I'm proud to say, made it's premiere debut on The Sundance Channel and more importantly, won the best director award at the Newport Film Festival.

Karl Geary (from HAMLET) wrote and stars in this humorous and touching love story about a small-time Irish rogue (Geary) who returns home to Coney Island, a tiny village in Sligo, to win the girl he left behind.  Alas, few in Coney Island are overjoyed to see him, including his beloved Bridget (Laura Fraser, from A KNIGHTS TALE), who is very pregnant and eager to marry her new fiance.

My second film, this time around ... a documentary:  NEW YORK AT THE MOVIES

Unforgettable scenes from some of the most celebrated films of all time highlight this captivating two-hour show.  Hosted by Meryl Streep,  the film chronicles the cinematic history of New York City and while paying homage to a place that has served as the backdrop for many great films, the documentary examines the ways in which the Big Apple has been portrayed, whether as a center of crime, moral decay, greed and power, or as a land of romance, glamour and opportunity.  Along with numerous clips, there are comments from filmmakers who have celebrated the city, including Sidney Lumet, Nora Ephron, Tim Robbins. Spike Lee,  Ed Burns, Martin Scorsese,  John Tuturro, and many more.
